CLASSIFICATION: DOC - Colli Orientali del Friuli.
SOIL: ponca (eocenic marnl).
AGE OF VINES: 20/25 years old.
BREEDING SYSTEM: double Guyot.
HARVEST: manually, in boxes, late August or early September.
WINEMAKING: delicate pressing of the grapes. While the first fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, the refermentation is carried out sur lies in stainless steel tanks for about 6/8 months. Bottling is followed by a refinement in the bottle of one month or more.
COLOUR: straw yellow with fine and persistent perlage.
AROMA: fresh and fragrant. Scents of nectarine, green apple and white figs.
TASTE: full-bodied, fresh, pleasant sensations of citrus notes.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: very well with all the appetizers, excellent with meat, cheese, fish and vegetables.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: between 44°F and 48°F.
